Freshly restored valve cover for Turbo II engines. RDI has these in two options, "early" and "late".
Early covers are commonly referred to as "2 or 3 piece" gasket style (or "multipiece") gasket style because they use RTV on the front and rear of the cover, but use gaskets on the sides.
The "late" covers (which come on common block motors and some non-common block engines) use a 1 piece gasket. These are typically more desirable because they utilize a single one piece molded gasket and thus shorten the time it takes to remove the old gasket material and install the new gasket. We have a few of each style in stock. Prices are reflected in the options drop down menu.
Our restoration process involves cleaning/degreasing and blasting our covers, remove the internal baffle and clean thoroughly, then reseal the baffle (which results in less oil pullover from the PCV system) final step is powder coat wrinkle black. If you are looking for a more economical solution we do have a couple of painted covers if you are on a budget - send us an email if that's your situation and we'll get you set up. No core required.
