Note:  This engine controller ONLY FITS the 1989-90 TC with 16v DOHC 2.2 Turbo engine.  (only those TC's that came in 1989-1990 with the 5spd Manual Transmission).  If you have one of these cars, keep reading.

This is the single best performance upgrade available for your ultra rare TC!
This controller provides a marked improvement in both part throttle as well as full throttle response and horsepower output! 

The software in this engine controller, designed by RDI's tech team features revised fuel, spark, and boost tables that increase the power on your 1989 TC Maserati from 200hp to 245hp!    It also increases your TC's peak boost from 10psi to 14psi.
 
No other modifications are required and it's a drop in replacement for your current controller.  Note that these are for OFF-ROAD USE only.  If you live in a state that still does emission inspections your vehicle will not pass with this controller, again, it's designed for off-road use only.   
 
Important Notes:
Must run premium fuel at all times!  (minimum of 91 octane.  93 octane preferred)
Must make sure your car is currently in a GOOD state of tune.  If your car currently has drivability issues, our performance controller will NOT fix your car's problems.   ****This controller will only make a car that is currently in a good state of tune perform better and make more power and torque.
Must make sure your car's ignition timing is set to 12degrees BTDC.  (if you need help with this, contact our tech support team and we will be happy to help).
We recommend you install our RDI Performance BOV upgrade kit when installing this controller.
We recommend you install an RDI (or equivalent) boost gauge when running this controller, as that will allow you to watch your peak boost in real time. 
We recommend you check your 35+yr old fuel injectors, fuel pump, and fuel injector wiring harness,  and make sure they are functioning like new.    RDI carries NOS fuel pumps, injectors, injector wiring harnesses and even adjustable fuel pressure regulators (available in the fuel section of our site).  But again, you don't technically need any of these other items, they are simply recommended for optimal performance, and considering our cars are now 35+ years old.
