Recall Package Kit - For a number of FWD 2.2 Turbo Chrysler/Dodge cars including Shelby Charger/Dodge Omni GLH and other Mopar cars.  Recall # 542.  The kit to resolve this issue was sent to Chrysler and Dodge dealerships:   Part number C3905422

Problem: The affected cars could produce excessive carbon monoxide (CO) and oxides of nitrogen (NOx) emissions in use. Chrysler was required to recall them and correct the emissions-control system.

The kit consists of some heat shields, a new o2 sensor, a new improved EGR backpressure transducer, clamps, and an instruction sheet.  Can be used on any 2.2 Shelby from the mid 80's to improve emissions and keep heat inside the exhaust rather than getting into the cabin, and causing excessive NOx.  I remember installing these as a dealer tech for Dodge.  This is the only new one I've seen in probably 35 years.
