If you own a 1986 Shelby Omni GLHS or or a 1987 Shelby Charger GLHS, your car came from the factory with two Koni knobs which allowed you to change the dampening on your front struts and rear shocks.      One was for the front struts....and the other was for the rear shocks.   

Note:  The one for the rear shocks has a little portion that sticks out (to provide the depth you need to reach the tips of your rear shocks).    The knob with no extension coming off it, is for your front struts.    
 
Here we have 4 knobs available, marked 1, 2, 3, and 4.    #'s 1, 2, and 3 are for your rear shocks. 
 
#4 is for the front struts.
