This part is used on “L-body” vehicles from roughly 1978–1989 — especially early front-wheel-drive models. 

Notably:
Dodge Omni (late 1970s through 1980s) 
Plymouth Horizon (same era) 
Some sources list early Dodge Charger (the 1980s “L-body” version) under compatible vehicles. 
 
🔧 Notes & compatibility
The switch mounts on the steering column — it’s not a dashboard-mounted headlight switch. 
It appears to have been superseded (or cross-referenced) by part number 5209862 in some catalogs.
