This is the oil feed line that supplies your turbocharger with fresh engine oil. It wraps around the driver side of your cylinder head.
Over the years (with many heat cycles) oil gets hard and "cokes" inside of this line causing a blockage which results in your turbo not getting an ample supply of fresh, clean oil to its bearing housing. 100% of the time that leads to turbocharger failure.
These are no longer available from Chrysler.
There are aftermarket steel braided ones made in China (or in some cases assembled here in the US with inferior Chinese materials). You can either take your chances with one of those (i.e. with unknown internal hose material from overseas), or buy this OE factory new Mopar one. We are down to our last three and are only willing to sell one. Once this one sells we will remove the listing.
Note: This will fit all Chrysler 2.2 Turbo I or Turbo II cars that came with the Garrett turbocharger from the factory. If you have a 1988 2.2 turbo I car, or for example, a 1989-1992 2.5 Turbo I car (with Mitsubishi turbo), Chrysler shows this line as the correct line, however you may need an additional fitting for it. Bottom line: if your car has a Mitsubishi turbo on it from the factory email us first before purchasing. If your car came from the factory with a Garrett turbocharger, (Turbo I or II) this will fit. If you have a 1989 Shelby CSX-VNT or 1990 VNT car (Daytona, Lebaron, Shadow), this will NOT fit your VNT engine.
